  Great practice for when you'll need to retake the course.There's no structure to the class. He gives "homework" by listing out problems from the textbook and telling us to practice them. If for any reason you don't get all the problems, that's it. You won't know you missed something till you see it on the test. He says teaching is his passion...

  He's just not a good professor, doesnt have lectures or assigns homeworks. Throws the material at you and doesn't even teach even though there are set lecture times and will get mad if you ask him questions. He will always respond "Oh this is easy, how did you not figure it out?" e.t.c

  Do not take him if you want to avoid a headache. Careless and laziest professor. Self-taught course, doesn't hold class even though there is a set lecture time as well as poorly recorded lecture videos. He uses videos from last year?? and not all videos cover the topics. Horrible organization, he doesn't use blackboard and just uses onedrive.

  Dr. Zafiris really cares and will go out of his way to help you succeed. His class certainly could use more structure, but if you work hard you can do well. Bottom line, his classes are hard and depend somewhat on your ability to learn on your own, but he is a terrific person to have in your corner.

  Avoid if you can. He doesn't lecture. He just tells you to read the book and watch his poorly recorded lectures. He does not work out examples. He does not give practice problems for homework. His multiple choice quizzes have the correct answers missing. This is the lowest effort I've ever seen from a professor. Do whatever you can to avoid.

  This class is self-teach class. All the homework and tests are supposed to be done through Python, and since he doesnt know how to use it he will tell you to figure it out your self. He failed to control class. There was a student in our class that was about to take his place and he didnt know how to stop him. Terrible attitude, gets mad easily.

  The worst of the worst! This guy should NOT be teaching any course that involves Python programming, because he knows NOTHING about it, he was graduated in 1980s!!!?? He is very RUDE. He gets MAD and yells at students all the time. Hard tests and never tells you your grades. To MATH majors and DATA science majors AVOID this guy at all costs.

  He knows nothing about Python nor programming, and he is teaching Numerical Methods (which is based on Python)!!. All he was doing just reading the book to the class. He only demonstrated an example one time and he did it wrong. You will not know where you are standing until he posts the FINAL grade in myUHD. He is always mad. Very RUDE in emails.

  The class was focused on computers using Python. The book assigned is outdated and will not help you with the current Python language as the methods have changed. He does not know anything about the computer, so he will tell you to figure it out and not answer your question or redirect you to a student that does. The test is not the same as class.

  This is a self-teach class. He teaches from a small packet that tells you the basics on each math process. But on the exams he expects you to do the whole step by step problems, which he never goes through in class. BTW the homework is all on python, we he doesn't help at all since he doesn't know how to use it either.

  I take partial fault in my failing grade for this class but he really was not a good professor. He had good intentions but majority of the time he would not talk about relevant things and he never really cared to help his students. the way he grades made no sense.

  MATH 1301 was alright. Lots of hw through mymathlab, but all of it is due close to the end of the semester. Lecture heavy, recommend taking notes. He can give you all the lecture slides for the year with a USB. Tests were ok.

  He was a really great teacher. I was really struggling in this class because at times he was confusing with his slight accent but he has no problem trying to explain again. I suggest going to all classes it can possibly help you stay in his good book. I really thought I was going to fail this class but I feel like my consistent attendance helped me

  Will tend to teach some things you won't necessarily need for the class sometimes just for the fun of it so make sure to note what you shouldshouldn't stress over. Will assign ?'s but it's on you to actually do them, and he will go over these practice ?'s so there is no real reviews for tests. Will tell you what will be on test sometimes take note

  If you pay attention and study the optional homework problems before the test, you'll pass. He is very open to questions and will explain until you understand. He gives you the book on a flashdrive! He doesn't take attendance but going to class is beneficial. He often says "I work for you," which means he'll push the test to the next day.

  Took this class during a 5 week semester schedule. Difficult, but not as much if you rely and use your textbook to study. Professor is a good instructor, but only if you have taken the time to study on your own and do the homework.
